EASTER CANTATA – Palm Sunday, April 14, 1019 at 10:30 a.m.

Everyone was inspired by the musical presentation by FCC´s well known choir directed by Marilyn Mangels and accompanied by the talented Sergio de Sousa.

They presented “The Crucifiction” by John Stainer.

This took place during the Morning Worship Service at 10:30 am.


FAREWELL MIDORI NAKADA  – Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019

We will miss Midori and her beautiful voice, as she moves to Japan.  We wish her all the best and God Speed!

More help  goes to the Refugees in São Paulo.

Recent clothing gathered at a Leticia´s building, was taken to refugee shelters throughout the city. Thank you Leticia and Cleusa from the Benevolence committee!

Shampoos and hygiene materials given to Casa do Aconhego.

Thank you, the Bells, for donating these for the  guests who stay at the Cozy House while loved ones are treated at the hospital across the street!


Christmas Campaign – Panetones for the underprivileged.

Traditional Brazilian Christmas cakes are being distributed to 90 underprivileged family from Casa do Aconchego and two refugee shelters in Pari and Glicério neighborhoods. The deadline is Dec.23 to donate – R$10 per cake. The distribution has already started.

The International Christian Church Youth Service, Dec. 15, 2018

The service for people 15 – 30 yrs of age, was a huge success. About 60 young people joined together to praise the Lord, hear the Good News and fellowship. There were lots of contemporary songs, with the guitar. You won´t want to miss the next one!

Christmas Cantata – Night of Miracles, Sun. Dec. 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.

This inspiring  musical – John Peterson´s contemporary cantata was sung by Fellowship’s own choir! The night of Jesus’ birth  portrayed in song and narration helped to get  us into the spirit of Christmas!


Our Thanksgiving Service was held on Nov. 25, 2018

The American Society and Fellowship Community Church invited all to praise God and give thanks for our many blessings. After the service we enjoyed refreshments and fellowship. A special thanks to David Warren, the coordinator of the marvelous event.

Our oldest and perhaps dearest member, Tutte, celebrated her 99th birthday with her church family!

We said goodbye to the lovely Manurung family who have been FCC members for 3 years. Hendro, Frisca and son Aksel are returning to Indonesia. We wish them all the best!

FCC Blanket Campaign goes to two houses for the elderly :

Today, Aug. 18, 2018 Casa do Idoso Luz do Caminho ( Light of the Path) had 10 blankets delivered to it. They take care of 14 people, the majority being women The men’s sitting room is the front garage and is not totally sealed against the cold wind.
Casa do Idoso PEDRA BRANCA (White Stone) received 16 blankets for its 17 occupants. Thank you, Cleusa!

FCC YOUTH GROUP Get Together took place on Sat. , August 11, 2018

Our first of many, from 6 – 9pm. A time to make friends, reflect on what Christ means to us, sing, pray, chomp down on hotdogs, practise English and just hang out in a Christian setting. Join us for the next one!

20 more blankets have been delivered to Casa de Aconchego.

The Cozy Home is a shelter for families whose sick loved ones are being treated at the hospital. Many of the children have cancer. They have their tests in the morning and have no place to wait. Casa do Aconchego gives them a place to rest, to wash clothes,and have meals. It also gives the children a place to play.

30  Blankets delivered to Irmã Eva from Missao SCALABRINIANA.  July, 2018 located in the Pari neighborhood.

This mission houses about 200 people mostly from Africa, Venezuela, Haiti and Morroco. They learn a trade and make handicrafts to sell. Food, shelter and language classes are provided as they learn to survive in São Paulo.

Clothing Campaign 2018 – Warm Clothes/blankets for the poor.

Actually not only clothing, but also blankets and even mattresses were solicited as donations at church. Winter can be bitter cold, especially for the needy. Cleusa Guimarães heads the Benevolence Committee and turned in the donations to Missão CENA – Comunidade Evangélica Nova Aurora (

A Tribute to Marilyn Mangels for her 54 years as Director of the Fellowship Community Church Choir! –  May 20, 2018

POTLUCK LUNCH – April 22, 2018

Over 80 members and friends gathered to fellowship over a delicious meal served after the Morning Worship Service.  “Potluck” means each family or person contributes by bringing a food item of his/her choosing: meat, salad, vegetables, dessert, etc. All comes together at the table and we get surprised with a savory lunch!

Renovations began on March 18, 2018. Please join us.

Warm Clothes for the Homeless – Sunday, July 17homeless under bridge

Today we (a group of volunteers from Fellowship Community church) with a heart for serving the homeless donated warm clothes and shoes at Praça 14 Bis. I want to send a very big and heartfelt thank you to the volunteers and donors! We are asking many items needed by the homeless as socks, underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. God bless you! – Lilian Papandre
