 YOU and FCC

Becoming Involved – Where do I fit in?         hands together

“We have all been given Spiritual gifts. Each gift is given for the common good”.  I Corinthians 12: 4-11

As a Christian community we join our hearts; we join our hands, in God’s service.

At Fellowship, we divide commitments into four areas:

Worship
Instruction
Fellowship
Service

Each of these areas needs you and I to be involved to do God’s work at FCC and in the world.

Please see where you fit in and get active in a team needing your help!  You will be happy you did!

 Worship

We are committed to worshipping the Lord God.

“All you have to do is climb the stairs to the choir loft.” One of the singers added, “…and if you can´t climb, we´ll carry you!”
  • Altar25092010335  Team – flower arranging, post a list for flower donors to sign up

 Instruction

We are committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Every Sunday before the worship service, the pastor presents a Bible study relevant to our lives today. Lessons are followed by a lively discussion time, led by a layperson.

Classes for children up to age 14, take place on Sunday mornings, given by qualified and dedicated teachers. (See Our Activities menu for specifics).

The pastor conducts pre-marital sessions, confirmation classes and pre-membership meetings, baptisms and marriages to prepare the congregation for each new step in their lives. He is also available for personal counselling.

We offer English classes on Monday nights to encourage a better understanding of the language and communication within the church.

How can I help?

  • Teaching Team– experienced teachers (for Sunday School or for our foreign language classes given during the week)
  • Assistant to the teachers

 FellowshipFellowhip

We are committed to fellowshipping with one another.

“Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

We feel this is an essential part of a Christian community and so we promote gatherings and activities to get to know each other better. Besides, it is always fun! (see Events Calendar)

How can I help?

Depending upon the event, we always need specific helpers:

  • Publicity Teamgroup kids
  • Set up / clean up Team
  • Carpooling Team
